The image behind the Seppele poster is Studio 1851 from Pori, which takes unique, handmade photographs using 1850s technology. The portrait was taken in Pori with a large bellows camera built by the company in July 2023. The image was captured in a single shot on 40x50cm photographic paper. After working in the darkroom, the final image is developed in daylight with the help of chemicals in twenty seconds. Watch the video of the completion of the image here !
